New Website for John Clark Plumbing and Heating

Not all the websites we produce need to have loads of pages and sections, sometimes a business just needs a presence on the web, especially if their customers need them in a hurry!

John Clark Plumbing and Heating based in Halifax West Yorkshire are a prime example of a business that needs to show what they are about and what they do straight away, telling the story over as few webpages as possible .. in this case with just the one page.

a website like this doesn’t have to cost very much, and can be produced very quickly — but our approach to them is just the same as any client, there is no shortcut in design quality, and the client still needs a method of updating their website content.

This website uses WordPress as a CMS, and is built upon the wonderful Thesis theme which allows the ultimate in WordPress customisation and offers fantastic SEO control for a client from within the CMS.

Simon Knight is Art Director at Twentyfourten Ltd. A Web Designer since the late nineties he has survived framesets, tables, ticker banners, Flash splash pages and spinning e-Mail '@' symbols - though he dearly misses the 'clunk-clunk-weeeeee-clang-clang' whine of a 56K dial-up connection.
