Exper­i­ence

Simon has worked as a web designer since 1999 and cre­ates design spe­cific­ally tailored for web (as opposed to cre­at­ing a design and shoe­horn­ing it into a web envir­on­ment). Simon is a ‘user-focused’ designer and any visual he cre­ates is prac­tical as well as aes­thet­ic­ally striking.

While Simon was Lead Web Designer at Leap Frog Com­mu­nic­a­tions (2000–2002) he headed the Web Access­ib­il­ity team who won the 2002 National Lib­rary for the Blind’s ‘Vis­ion­ary Design’ award for the Local Her­it­age Initiative’s website.

Simon left Leap Frog Com­mu­nic­a­tions (with his designs hav­ing helped the com­pany be awar­ded ‘Best Web Design Com­pany’ at the York­shire Inter­net Awards) and setup his own com­pany; Twenty­four­ten Ltd. Simon was soon recog­nised in his own right by the same awards body when Twenty­four­ten were short lis­ted in the ‘Best New Web Design Com­pany’ cat­egory for 2004.

Respons­ib­il­it­ies

Simon is respons­ible for the day to day run­ning of Twenty­four­ten, man­ages your pro­ject from plan­ning to com­ple­tion and heads the devel­op­ment team scaled to match your web­sites needs.

Simon lives in Cleck­heaton in West York­shire. A great cent­ral UK loc­a­tion which lets him get out to see cli­ents easily.
